#PolskaMarka : Acephala, the Polish fashion brand that combines Feminism and Sustainability

Acephala is a Warsaw-based brand founded in 2014 by the duo Monika Kędziora and Bartek Korzeniowski. It’s a conceptual brand with a feminist mission and a sustainable approach. Acephala is recognized for creating collections that subvert stereotypical notions of femininity.

Each piece is carefully constructed and produced using the highest quality textiles selected for their distinctive textures and sensual touch. The signature of the brand includes sculptural designs and texture mixing. Suits, shirts and shirt dresses, as well as printed tops, are client favorites. Since 2016 Acephala has expanded its regular clothing line with limited editions of accessories: socks, clutch bags, scarves, belts.

A sustainable approach to fashion design is integral to Acephala. They are strongly convinced that high-end fashion should be leading in the sustainable approach to clothes production and that the creative process should be intertwined with the responsibility towards our planet.

Every season at Acephala brings new solutions to sustainability. The core of the collections is made of organic cotton and wools and experimental recycled textiles. The production is based in Poland – a country that has a very well developed and diverse production base with varied sawing and knitting houses and a broad range of highly qualified craftspeople and a good supply of garment accessories.
